5 openings left. 2200 acres. 15 members. Deer, turkey, hogs. We have a few openings left and this is a brand new club. The entire land has had little to no pressure over the last 2 years and is a 8pt/3.5 yr or better club. 20 established food plots with spring planting taking place over the next few weeks. Camp site is dozed and power is being established currently. Great group of guys thus far and will be selective on who joins. Looking for responsible trust worthy people with like minded goals to grow good bucks. We are not shooting basket rack 2.5 year old bucks. $1000.00 dues and contribution to fall planting. 1 mile from the river

You are doing it right!!! "Point" restriction alone is the worst way to manage a buck population. There IS a difference in body characteristics b/w a 2.5 and a 3.5/4.5+ Sometimes it's hard to tell and some people will complain but trigger restraint on bucks pays off big time.

A successful hunt in NOT always killing a buck. See lots of bucks and having a great experience in the woods IS a SUCCESSFUL hunt.

Until someone has hunted "managed land" with lots of bucks, they'll never understand being patient and having restraint in killing immature bucks!

Good luck!!!!!! Your club is doing it the right way!
