Overlooking a humongous cutover in Lowndes. Tress have really jumped since last year. Not as open as I would like. Pretty frosty this morning!

Buddy smoked a hog. Was walking back to truck to give it time and apparently it made a circle. They met face to face for a second and he’s in bad shape. Mexican standoff for a second and then it ran off. what you mean hes in bad shape
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Sorry. Buddy was walking out and got queasy with the pig so close. Took stand off back and put between the two ( bow hunting ) while he stood up and he fell over and got back up and hobbled off in woods. Buddy was not trailing it. He was coming to meet me at truck to wait. It just did a half circle and got on a firebreak. Well after an hour we figured that was plenty since it was in bad shape when seen earlier. Blood was everywhere and we got on the trail into a gal berry thicker with vines and all. Went and got pistol and ended up on hands and knees going down trails. All of a sudden we heard it and got to where we could stand. It circled us close staying in thicket. We could see the shrubs and vines shaking. With in 20 steps. It finally stopped and start chomping his teeth. We decided we had enough and gonna give it he night. I have to work in the morning but he gonna go hunt and look for it. Boy did it stink. I said how big was it it. He said looked like a 55 gallon drum on its side. He’s killed plenty so he should now. Arrow still in it. Quartering away 30 yards. He thought it was a perfect shot but apparently not. If I had seen a deer of that caliber on the same hunt, I wouldn’t waste 2 seconds walking around looking for a stuck pig.
