Just read a thread where the fellow was asking for a dog because his dad had shot a nice 12pt. Well, the deer crossed the property line and the neighbor will NOT let him look for it. If its a 12pt possible deer of a lifetime, do you still go look for your deer?? Call the warden??? What would you do???

Personally, I'm finding the deer and take my chances with the neighbor.

No my dad had shot the deer and went to the owner of the property next to him to ask to go find it what I was told was the property owner has been hunting the same deer so I'm guessing he's a little sore about it

GW is not going to do anything but arrest you if you cross the line. Nothing he can do.

I would go get my deer and he would probably never of had a clue that I killed it, especially since it sounds like there may be history of some sort.

I'm assuming the father shot the deer legally on his own land.

Chances are if that land owner is sore because he was after the same deer he is probably looking for it or fount it already.

#1. If there MIGHT be a problem, go home!! Then come back about midnight. That's against the law but sometimes its better to beg for forgiveness than ask permission. Like everything else in deer hunting loose lips sink ships!

Your dad is outta luck. Did the right thing by asking permission, and things could have gotten ugly is y'all had pursued the deer onto the property and been caught. Use more gun next time and drop him in his tracks.
