Well I killed my first TN buck this morning. He came out at first light about 100yds down the road we walked in on. He wasn't quite as big as I thought when I shot him but I'm still happy with him. Shot him with my tikka 243 using 95gr fusions. He went 40yds after the shot.

Lol, as soon as he shot him I said why did I let him shoot that thing? smile It's all them birds he put me on this spring I guess had me feeling sorry for him. smile He's been trying to put 8 points on spikes and 4 points all day so I will shoot one so we could go home smile going to the big lease tomorrow morning so hopefully they will be moving. I saw a shooter at dark tonight but he cut the corner of the field and was gone before I even had a chance to reach for my gun. Still chasing them does, he will die. We saw 25 or better this morning and about the same this evening. A lot of the same deer I am sure, but we sat all day minus an hour taking his deer to hang it and eat lunch. Sitting11:30 to dark SUCKS! I'll get us some points some way some how.
