That's about the strangest way to pose with a dead deer I've ever seen, but congrats on the find X2

Glad you found your deer. That is one strange looking deer tracking dog right there, but if he works what the hell.
FYI, yall could have just as easily all laid on the ground and spooned for the pic and would have had the same effect on me. Definitely an odd pose to say the least. To each his own.

That is one strange looking deer tracking dog right there, but if he works what the hell. That is a 4 legged tracking machine. I've seen her in action, as have several others here on this site. Good job Meg. CD.

You bet, this dog approves that dog. My info says the wirehair weiners are only second to a bloodhound in the nose department. She don't quit. Her brother Jack has gotta stop being so rough on her when they're working togather. Mean ol' brother chewed half her ear off last year.

That's about the strangest way to pose with a dead deer I've ever seen, but congrats on the find It ain't the strangest pose ever on this site, by a country mile. I can think of "Two Men, One Doe" that tops the list. I'd be hugging the deer, too. Congrats to the hunter and to the good ol' tracking dog! Great job!
