Kansas would be my suggestion. If you are looking for archery or rifle I can probably squeeze y’all in for 2025.
The tag system has gotten turned upside down over the last 6 years but I think it’s going to right itself. The word is the state is supposed to pass a vote on reinstating landowner tags. If that happens we will be back to 100% draw on tags. I’ve got nearly 20,000 acres and that will give me lots of land owner tags.
If the state doesn’t reinstate landowner tags; the success on drawing tags was about 75% this year.

Deer are dropping in record numbers around here. I bet the final reported harvest at the end of this year will be 20% more than previous years. I’ve never seen processors shutting their doors opening weekend and the week of Thanksgiving. A lot of them did this year. Our processor took in over 130 deer opening day. Which county or counties are you referring to?

Gobble4me, remember this. The rut does not change from one year to the next. It’s the same every year in whatever location you’re in. Regardless of scrapes, rubs, cruising, chasing, observed rutting behaviors, moon phase, weather etc it is happening the same time this year as it did last year and so on.

No specific time. Deer scrape all year and rub whenever they have antlers.

Great deer and outstanding work.
It's also very good of you to promote this new venture with your post.
We are all too quick to criticize and slow to give praise.
