Mushrooming

These are .308 federal fusion in a 150 grain bullet. I shot them into a bag of sand around 100 yards this morning. Thea are from a AR 10. Does that look about normal? It also took a while to get my rifle close to center. I don’t know how I was hitting anything the past few hunts.

Sand isn't a deer but those look typical. Try water Jugs if you want something more realistic

Back in the day I'd use phone books and newspaper soaked in water for at least 4 hours placed in a 32 inch bullet box. If it'll expand in that it'll also expand in flesh.

Mushrooming is what i do to find my inner spirit animal…i havent found him yet but i really enjoy the smell of the color magenta✌️

I'm surprised to see those Federal Fusions separate.
