CCI 209 Primers

Why are 209 primers so hard to find?
Surly the manufacturer has had time to produce. They have been hard to find for well over a year

Do they have to be CCI?

That is just what I have always used. CCI 209 for Muzzle loaders.

During the primer shortage, I know that im not supposed to, and I dont recommend it, but I interchange non-magnum primers for shotshell reloading. Using Fed 209 and CCI209M could mean trouble if you dont back off the powder and even then it takes an experienced shotshell reloader to know when and how to switch components

Shipping at above ranges from $12 to $34. I guess I am just too old fashion. Not going to pay double the price or triple the price on this item to ship it.

That's cheap for shipping but if you don't need any I guess you don't have to pay it.

How can $35 for shipping on an item that only cost $12.50 be cheap? and is only a few ounces heavy??

Hazmat shipping I paid $45 today for hazmat on 1lb of powder.

I lucked up and found four 100 packs at Bass Pro in Leeds about 2 months ago. They were Winchester. I bought them all.

I check the Bass Pro in Prattville every week and they have never had any. Also looking for 410 ammo and it is no where local.

I found a 100ct box of cci 209s in Rainsville, at Kodas gun shop. 28 bucks was more than I wanted to pay, but did because I was tired of looking.

It was a good buy considering
