What are yall's favorite store bought or home made seasonings and spice mixes yall like to put on either ground deer meat or patties? Trying to get into cooking and wanted some good seasoning mixes.

Best Backstrap, is the name of the one I use. It's delicious, if I'm doing a whole loin, I marinate it in McCormick's Brazilian Steakhouse marinade.

Is Hardin's in Montgomery still open?
My son puts a pork rub with a touch of brown sugar and some salt. Sounded disgusting to me but that little hint of brown sugar completely changes the flavor. It works really well with wild game

Nope, someone locally bought the rights to the seasoning. You can find it at renfroes.

Mayo for binder and southern flavor. Brush with dales while cooking over hickory and top with jalapeño

I used allegros original marinade with some gunpowder and Chicago steakhouse seasoning this last time.
Hard to go wrong honestly
Marinaded in zesty Italian salad dressing then batter and fried is some count. We always pounded the meat out tender, marinated and then fried in a cast iron pan.

Which is why you ALWAYS need to add it to your cornbread.

Ground mustard, Sure Shot Sid's Gundpowder, Badia Complete Seasoning. If I don't use Hoover Sauce to marinade (or Country Pleasin' Grillin & Chillin Sauce same as the original Hoover Sauce), I pat brown sugar on to caramelize.

The simplest burger marinade is Italian dressing and moores or dales. I like the low sodium dales. I put some of both in the ground meat, mix in then make the patties
You can alway sprinkle a dry seasoning on top if you like. Or just salt and pepper. I never measure, depends on how many burgers I’m making.
