Got the crud…. In the recliner. Pollen and this time of year. My coughing would sure make one gobble feels like a lungs coming out. 42 degrees light breeze. All Enjoy

Atoler and I have hiked about 2.5 miles up a massive mountain in the national forest and it’s dead silent here so far.

At club. On a high place that I should be able to hear one. Dang the road getting back here was rough. Thought I’d broke my front axel one time. At 0600 it’s quiet other than some quail calling to each other.

Haven't heard a gobble. Called in old boss hen on a string to about 25 yards, no gobb in tow. That's my luck this year

Finally heard birds here in western Oklahoma. For the weather this might be the last good day before the rain an storms move in.

#2 dead at 9:45. Watched him hang up and strut, gobble, and drum his butt off from 730 til 9. He went back the way he came from and I made a loop and moved about 100 yards down into the hardwoods and called him right back in. Took me almost 3 hours of working this bird before I pulled the trigger

Finally got one at 5:11. Watched him strut with 2 hens in a field for 30 minutes just out of range around 3. Came back out and closed the distance. Super thankful for him
