Pant recommendations - 03/28/23 09:30 PM

I’ve looked without any luck, so I thought I would asked here. I’m looking for a pair of turkey hunting pants in mossy oak original treestand camo. Mossy oak sells their cotton mill pants in that camo color, but as you all probably know, those pants fade after one wash and absolutely are not worth $55. I have plenty of pants in green leaf, bottomland, etc, but I like the treestand camo a bunch and would like to have a quality pair of pants in that color. Anyone know of any? Thank ye kindly.

That’s not the camo pattern he’s looking for.

Try bibs, you never have to worry about your shirt tail coming out, especially on a cold morning. That is all I will wear and I love the chest pockets!

Hevi that’s prolly your only option that I know of…I use cheap browning bottomland and they are cheap and great but not the pattern you looking for

There's a company called Ladiga Sportswear makes 6 pocket military speck pants in Piedmont Alabama. They make pants for a lot of Police Departments. There's an older lady works , maybe owns the place. She sells them at Collinsville Trade day . They make them in old school Mossy oak bottom land tree stand . It's the original mossy oak pattern with a few green leaves . I bought 2 pair a few years ago I think for $25 each. Looks like they have an outlet store now.

Kinda what I figured because I have looked everywhere that I could think to look. I’m partial to that treestand pattern because I have found it to blend in perfectly in 95% of places I sit down. I do like bottomland and green leaf, worn it for years, but that treestand with the added branches just makes it so much more realistic.

Boom! You the man Anthony! Do they fade pretty quick like the mossy oak stuff? If not, and she will ship, I’m going to order several pairs and try them.

Well never mind. I found a number, called it, no answer. She called me back and said they don’t have any and won’t be able to get them anymore. Story of my life lol thanks for the lead anyway.

Just don't wash the Mossy Oak. My Shadowleafs are in their 25th season.

I was afraid of that. I can't remember how she said they came to get that particular pattern . She had no idea that was a hot pattern . They make fine pants , they are double seat and knees , the pockets are made out of the same material . They are button fly , take ups on the sides and draw string in bottom of legs. True Military style. Hate you missed them.

They have bottomland and similar there? May be worth the drive over there tomorrow on my lunch break. Idk why that pattern isn’t made more commonly, but no one makes any pants in that color that I can find. If I were to find some, I’d buy 15 pairs for safe keeping.

I got a set of Columbia pants with Mossy Oak bottomland. They are like denim and really comfortable and tough. I think I got them at Academy last year. They have a beltloop that says PHG (kinda like the PFG on fishing apparel).

I ordered a pair of those online this year because they were on sale. They are like a jean fit and almost too skinny for me but I have worn them 4x now and they are comfortable. I ran through some saw briars Sunday morning to get set up and I can see a few spots where the briars pulled the fabric. We will see how they hold up.
