Who makes a good tube call

Thanks for the referral! I reached out to Tom and he had a few left for me to choose from. The one I wanted literally sold within 10 min of him telling me he had it. So he turned me one just like it the next day and I got it this week. Sounds as awesome as it looks. I’d highly recommend anyone looking for a custom tube call to check him out.

That's like what the folks long ago called a "Snuff Can" Call. They would take a Snuff Can and put a piece of Condom Rubber over the end and secure it with a Big Rubber Band. There was a fellow from Society Hill, Ala. that used them.....and it made a Sweet Sounding Yelp,Cluck,Purr.

If yall don't mind me asking, how much do the tube calls run? Really like the looks of those

X2, they’re sharp. How hard are they to run?

I can’t remember what mine cost. I bought it and 3 other calls at once.

All tube calls are not the easiest to run, takes a lot of practice and still won’t sound the same as other calls. But it’s something different and you can really get loud on them.

I like them a lot. More so just playing with them, but I do use them hunting also.

I also suggest checking out the Mark Prudhomme tube the KT team has listed on their website. It's a different design and has a learning curve. However it's a good sounding call when you figure out how to run it.

For me, learning to use took some time but when you “find it” then it’s easy. I’ve learned how to do every call on it, even gobbling. Best advice I can give for a newbie trying to learn is drop your lower jaw when yelping. To gobble go tooka tooka tooka with your air flow.

Appreciate the info n2 and 3toe… I used to make some pill bottle cheap ones but it’s been since I was a kid.

Seems like I remember a couple of gobblers who liked it too.

I remember showing 3toe a tube call and he struggled to make a sound on one. Now the sucker runs one better than me.

Just ordered one. Told him to surprise me. As long as it was loud, sounded good, and wasn’t a bright color a turkey could see, I’ll take it. He seems great to do business with and is quick to email back. I’ll post when I get it.
