Who has one and what are your thoughts? I know most folks have the 410 but I’m only interested in the 20.

It's a Chinese copy of an H&R Topper, just with an added safety

Mine throws up a hell of a pattern with a sumtoy .562 and some hand loads. It’s not the turkey model though. I believe it’s just a 20” barrel. Had Gundoc cerakote it and tap it.

I had the 301 stevens 20 with factory Choke that came with it - it was awesome. I put apex brand #9 shot TSS thru it and it lived it. 80 plus pellets in a turkey head and neck at 42 steps

Light as a feather - does not kick as bad as a 12 - I really like it - compact

Im guessing you sold it? Or why’d you’d get rid of it?

I had another comparable gun that looked better - but after patterning it w my best friend who I sold it cheaply too - I told him he probably got the better gun. Really like the 20 Stevens I sold him and it was so cheap

I hav the tristar raptor that I just like more - auto - very good camo pattern

But I would recommend that stevens to anybody and I did not go thru an extensive attempt to pattern it further - but if u get it try the Appex 9s n tss and it seems like the 8-10 combo worked good to and it also looks sharp too - dang compact - for the $ hard to beat

^^^and my best friend was super jacked - I was happy for him - he loves the gun - I bought it with a red dot on it. The gun itself was like only $220 r something like that. So I never shot it with open site - came w red dot

Throws a great pattern but I hate the safety and trigger set up.

you can take the safety off. That's what I did.

Go look at one in a store - the one I had was in a neat camo pattern and super lite - heard others mention safety - it never bothered me while target shooting - u could decide that at the store

I bought one well after the season was over. I've only shot one shot through it just to make sure it would operate correctly. It hit where I was aiming with open sights, which is more than I can say for some shotguns I own, or have owned in the past. I plan on putting some type of optic on it, probably a red dot, before the season starts. Looking forward to see what it can do. If it performs well, it may take the place of my Mossberg Turkey Thug 20.

It was my go to gun this last season. Super light and could break down and put it in the back of my vest for the walk out. And the stock choke throws a heck of a pattern with apex small town blend
