I'm not sure how, but I have an Ocellated turkey on the place.

Too bad it isn't a male or I think I'd go after a world slam this year!!

Thanks!

I'm really excited!
I'm going to go put out 20 cameras around the place!!

Will the NWTF recognize an Ocellated turkey killed in Alabama for a slam?

I don't think the NWTF recognizes peacocks as a sub species. However, years ago I had a group of wild turkey hens that were roosting in a little hardwood bottom behind my barn that had a male peacock that was traveling and roosting with them. First time I saw them I thought I was hallucinating. Don't know what happened to the peacock, never saw him again after that

About 20 years ago my neighbor was using a peacock locator call every morning. He would get the gobblers fired up with that thing.

That there is a pixellated Eastern. Common side effect of clorox stumps and cald.

Looks just like the one we lost a few months ago, shes still running around here somewhere, we see her now and then. I was hoping shed hook up with a male somehow and wed have a bunch of wild peacocks in the woods.
