Bout to head head. Gotta love the weekend weather around here...
I hope I blow ones beak off! I have seen them every morning just cant close the deal, I'm ready for my first bird. Thought about making me some limb lines with small hooks and corn.

Headed out to see if we can't get junior on a bird for the TN youth hunt this morning. Gonna storm pretty bad up here after lunch so we don't have long today to get it done.

Re: LFTTW 3/25/17 - 03/25/17 10:09 AM
Can't be much more silent than I have been. I watched him walk off with a different group of hens

Re: LFTTW 3/25/17 - 03/25/17 10:55 AM
Let me know if you want to double team him one morning next week. Maybe both of us can sound as exciting as that group of hens

Re: LFTTW 3/25/17 - 03/25/17 01:40 PM
Too bad it was the youth hunt.
I called up 3 strutters at 10 am and my son shot the beak off one at about 20 yds.
No flopping so we waited for the other two to finally walk off in search of another hen before going get to his turkey. Maybe the other two will want to play next weekend.

Thanks Justin! It was pretty funny watching my son try to keep it together long enough to let the 3 put some distance between themselves. I was afraid they were either going to see us and bolt or end up in our laps!
