40% Deet

I found a can of bug spray at Walmart that has 40% Deet in it. I use a ThermaCell but I also keep a can of bug spray in my vest. I spray the ground and tree where I'm going to set up to keep away chiggers and ants.
It's in the camping dept.

You can get a can of pure deet at BPS for about 9 bucks a little goes a looooooooooong way and don't apply directly on bare skin it will burn.

And especially dont put it on your skin while wearing shorts and then put on snake chaps over it.

I use the Repel with permanone. You spray it on your clothes not your skin...haven't had a tick on me since I started using that stuff a few years ago.

I just bought 4 cans of the 40% deet repel for 3.50 a can or so at china mart. I figured I will need it this year.

I use the permethrin spray too. If you can't find the Repel Brand, generic headlice bedding spray is the same .50 % permethrin as the Repel. I spray my clothes and it keeps ticks off of me.
