Good luck! Told the wife my season was done unless I get an invite to hunt at someone's lease, but might try and swing a morning hunt tomorrow at Cahaba

Sitting in the ground with my 8 yo in a makeshift blind. The blind is actually pretty good but the kid can't quit talking or sit still. So far we've seen a huge cane cutter, be nice to see a few deer to help peak his interest a bit.

Had 3 does come in behind me in a ladder that has not been hunted all year in the evening. Thought the small tree between was enough cover to draw, but apparently it was not. Jumped fire lane and the other two were still feeding. Cow horn takes care of that opportunity and runs them out of range. Still early and hopefully that is a good sign.
