Good last hunt of the year for me

Shot this 7 pt on Saturday morning in Escambia Co. He was aged at 4.5 yo and weighed 170#. He was following a few does out of a hard wood bottom towards a bedding area. The Muzzy ate him up! He only ran 30 yards before he went down in sight of my stand. That was awesome to watch!

While that is a fine deer, how do you all feel about the fact that Huntin' Nole basically poached that deer. He followed me right to the above mentioned hardwood botton, watched me work my ass off to hang the stand, didn't offer to help once and then shot the deer the first time the stand got hunted. I'm really happy for you though

Actually that was the 2nd time I hunted the stand! And don't forget I did cut down two samplings to clear some shooting lanes and I carried the climbing stick from the truck to the tree you hung that stand in!

You're just a little disappointed that your big brother is still getting things done before you. :p :p
