Waiting on light. 13yr old got a new bow for Christmas so we bow hunting this morning.

I’m hunting Freedom Hills this morning. 1 week from the rut, so I’m hunting a scrape line. I have 8 scrapes within a 30 yard shooting radius on this hardwood ridge with an old 5 acre club field full of sage grass 20 yards to my north. Buck sign everywhere! I’m about as pumped up as I have ever been. I drove one hour for a four hour sit. Oh yeah I’m behind the sanctuary sign............. and that’s no joke! Good luck y’all and someone bring me a sock, because I put two on one foot and one on the other.

I’m in a corner where cutover meets a hardwood flat. It’s thick in, not a lot of shooting lanes. Good luck and stay safe.

Looks good JD. I’m in my ground blind close to the property line on private land that adjoins a wildlife sanctuary. Hoping to catch a cruising buck. Expectations are low. Buck to doe ratio is way out of whack

That’s my second arrow sticking out. I shot him straight under me in the spine with the first.
