Shot a deer and have no blood or hair on the arrow, but end up with a deer recovery? Maybe not pick up blood 20,30,40 or more yards away?

Ive not picked up blood for the first 50-60yds. Ive never even looked for one if there wasnt any sign on my arrow.

Had several I knew I hit which only had a thin film on the arrow. Really had to look to see the film.
Recovered the deer.
