Check the list that's at the top of this forum. Granted, the list will have some stations that may not be selling real gas but it should help.

100% ONLY in mine. I don’t have to worry about not finding it, everywhere that I fish there a stations with it as well as one about 10 miles from my house.

If you do not have ethanol rated fuel lines in your boat (most newer boats/engines probably will), you better run non-ehtanol fuel or you'll find yourself up the creek without a paddle, so to say. I was having problems with my boat (this was back when the ethanol fuels had just started being sold)...boat would not idle, hard to start, engine would die regularly, etc. After it left me dead in the creek one day, I took it to the local boat wrencher and 1st thing he asked was if I was running ethanol or 100% gas and he showed me the fuel line running from the tank to the bulb, then to the engine...It was like the inside of the fuel lines and bulb had turned to a gel and then started collapsing. Luckily, it had not messed up the fuel lines under the cowling yet. He replaced the fuel lines with ethanol rated lines (they are blue colored lines or black with a blue stripe) and I never had any more problems (of course, after I ran that tank of gas out, I started using 100% gas)

I would never put ethanol in my boat or 4 wheeler.

Re: Boat gas - 04/07/20 05:51 AM

Absolutely no ethanol in mine. I recently drained and filled my 56 gallon tank. G
Even non ethanol gas is cheap right now.

I was so glad when I moved here from Texas and had no problem finding ethanol free gas. In Texas I had to drive over to Oklahoma.

I only use 100% gas. It’s $1.79 right now and my boat only holds 6 gal. 👊

Re: Boat gas - 04/09/20 01:28 PM

For those of you who use non ethanol gas, don’t put Seafoam in it because If you do, you just created ethanol gas

Just purchased an older bass boat with a 150 hp 2 stroke. Previous owner has been running 93, but with Ethanol. What do I need to do to ensure that it doesn't come back to bite me in the ass?
