Those that haven’t planted yet...Saturday?

Those that haven’t planted yet...Saturday? - 10/01/21 01:16 AM

Who is planning to plant this weekend? We’re sitting on G waiting on O but not sure if we’re going to chance it with the 40-50% chance for Sunday/Monday. Looks pretty slim after those days for the foreseeable future. We do have about 15-20 acres of good, perennial clover so they aren’t without right now.

I planted this past weekend. Zero moisture in the ground and hardly and chance of rain and now it’s rained twice already one full day of slow steady rain and I’m already seeing a green haze. Go ahead and plant so when it does rain your stuff will come up.

I planted today at my recreational property. It rained yesterday and this morning so the ground was moist but not sloppy. I only have about one acre between 3 areas that I plant though. Managed to disc(with my UTV and groundhog max), spread seed and the rest of my lime, and drag it smooth between 4 and 6 this evening.

Mine will go in by the 1st of November rain or no rain. If no rain no fertilizer I'll come back with it and again mid-December.

We'll be glowing like a green neon sign January 1st when the cruising starts.

Most likely he's talking about hitting them in December with 34-0-0. Nitrogen only, to give them a jump and green them back up.

I was able to buy 13-13-13 with slow and fast release nitrogen and box does it help. Bought it last year and this year. Did not put down but once when we planted

I do 100-150 lbs of 34-0-0 per acre in early December.
