Lease Companies.....

I wanted to know how you guys feel about specific lease companies..... I'm in the Marengo County area and Ive seen Soterra, Weyerhaeuser, Hudson Hines, and that's about it lease in the area. I have property from Soterra already and I feel like they are a very fair company, I wanted to ask about the others and your opinions?

Hudson owns a lot of smaller tracts,I think he's $10-$12/hr,he should be pretty easy to deal with

Weyerhaeuser is nothing special, not good or bad. You can always count on them going up on your lease every year (most do). They are not overly concerned with whether you lease from them or not (again, most are the same). Roads are usually decent and they communicate pretty well on timber harvests.
