1994 Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4 - 03/03/24 11:19 PM

I have totally rebuilt this ATV. Every bearing, seal, cable, breather line, gasket and all has been replaced. The final drive, top end, brakes, rear axle, cv, differential, and body plastic had been rebuilt or is brand new. All the controls have been replaced, I installed an auxilary cooling fan, 12v marine grade outlet, front brakes have been converted to disc. The entire brake system is new. Every brake component was replaced and all function perfectly. The exhaust is new and when I rebuilt the top end I replaced the piston, rings and hand lapped the valves. Does not smoke, runs perfect and is pulls like a horse. I have used it to seed and drag fields and drive around my club. One front tire leaks down and the battery may need to be replaced as it hesitated some when I cranked it today. This may be a 1994, but runs and looks as new. I replaced the fenders with those from a 96 model as originals were flat and prone to break. 96 models were improved to stop this and look better to me. Also have a new winch with wired and wireless controls. I am asking $3000 for it.

It also has cv guards and an aluminum skid plate that covers the entire swing arm. The switch on the front, below the handlebars is for the 12 volt auxilary fan. It is also wired up for a spreader. The wiring is inside the trunk. The original tool set is there as well. Also, I redid the tow hitch as the original was a weak design. It's fully welded up and made a custom hitch for it that has a clevis built in for a drag. There's a pic of it in there somewhere.

Probably the best ATVs ever made. Bulletproof inside and out.

I’ve got a 1998 that runs like a brand new one. Still has original everything, including tires. I’m fighting this one real hard.

Here's a few pics of the rebuild process. Also have extras of the stickers that I replaced on it. One of the "4" on 4x4 got messed up this past season so I bought more and only used the one that was needed.

Yessir! I’ve got a 98 that doesn’t look near what that one does. Best 4wheelers ever made.

They do t make them like that anymore. You’re gonna regret it. We still have 2 at the camp. Never have an issue with them. Best Honda made!!

Had one until about 4 years ago.

They're virtually bulletproof but NOT fire proof.

Ask me how I know. frown

Been riding my 98 model for 26 years now. Been all over Alabama some parts of Tennessee and 5 or 6 trips to Colorado. On its 3rd set of tires. Still runs great.

I appreciate all the comments fellas. I try to keep a "project" going for my dad and I to work on. We both enjoy this kinda stuff and with my folks living across the street it makes it easy for us both to spend some time together messing around with the projects.

Re: 1994 Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4 - 03/07/24 02:06 PM

PM answered. I'll also add that I'll consider partial trades on guns if it's something I'm interested in. No ARs though. Also, partial trade on rifle scopes as well.

Re: 1994 Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4 - 03/09/24 01:41 PM

All PMs answered. Gun interests are bolt actions in SA calibers of .308 and 6.5 prc and creedmoor and LA calibers of most everything except .270. Lever guns in 44mag. Single action western style revolvers in 44 mag, 44 special and 45 long colt. Good quality riflescopes as well. Also, battery was indeed going bad, so it now has a new battery.

Re: 1994 Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4 - 03/12/24 07:05 PM

Bump. Will also do partial trades on 20 gauge semi-auto shotguns. Feel free to make offers as well, all I can say is no, or counteroffer.
