Scammer Alert

Greatguy134 sent me a PM offering a rifle in response to my WTB Win 94 356 Win with a link to pics. I picked up on the grammar in the pm and was suspicious from the start. I requested a number to call. The number was finally sent today after waiting since the first pm on 2/22. I waited several hours before calling and the call would not go through. As a former forum owner and current website owner, I felt the need to research from the start. I reached out to a very large forum owner and this member was banned after the first post in 2022 and has been banned on other forums. One of which was after only 14 posts. I’m giving y’all a heads up.

weird....I wonder if he's been hacked. Looking at his posting history, albeit limited, he seems to use normal grammar and none of his posts are in the classifieds (which is where scammers immediately go, usually).

I don’t know but, I exercised some due diligence before posting this. I wouldn’t make a post like this if I didn’t feel comfortable posting it as 99%+ sure.

Yea a guy texted me beggin to buy my Toyota Tacoma that he was coming from fort Payne, texted me like he was a good ole boy but he was also a scammer, never had no intention, just wanted to drag it out to pro long selling, or just a butthole! Anyway there on this site as well, be cautious

The member Greatguy134 has been banned. In spite of the admin’s best efforts to keep scammers and spammers out, they’ll slip through the cracks. I posted this in the open so that other members would be aware. I don’t think members who can’t keep their word or stand people up fit in same category as someone who joins with the sole purpose of scamming you out of your money.
