Are there really people stupid enough to pay those prices for 22lr? The cheapest ones on there are $0.23 a round. That's $175 for a brick of 500. I'll never understand why people want to freak out and hoard ammo. If all the people, like the ones that are at academy every morning at 5am, would just stop for a few of weeks there'd be plenty of ammo.
Larry's has 22s for $55 for a 550 count. He's other options that workout to 10 cents a round. Also, academy in Decatur had a bunch 100 boxes or so for $3 for 50 cut. Limit two boxes

I would say it is close to the top of the list for people that stockpile ammo. Cheap, small, and versatile.
