Shot a doe today.....

......with a core-lokt, during the rut, and in a green field. I should have known that was bad, as many folks on here that complain about it. Buried my truck when I came to load her up. I mean BURIED. Took a 4x4 green and yellow machine to get her out.

did the exact same thing Saturday rut and all when that storm was rolling through. Truck somehow got us out though.

A whopping 138 lbs! Biggest one I've killed in about 6 years or so.

Took a pic of her in a blood pool. My phone died while I was walking back out to get help. Didn't get any pics of the truck, but that dark alluvial mud looks good on a white chevy.

I need to kill some heifers on this place. I killed 12 in this location a few years ago, 7 with a bow from one tree. Made no difference.
