Evidently the big ones moved yesterday, the walker county buck from the other thread was killed and evidently a 180"+ deer from Shelby Co was killed as well.

Theres big bucks like that in every county..Just gotta be lucky enough to be there at the right time cause you sure as hell wont pattern them ole boys.I got pics somewhere of one killed right above my house about 7 years ago that went 167" which is unheard of for round here.Congrats to the lucky hunter!!! STUD of a deer.

If yAll will look at some of the pics that come off the cahaba it's amazing what comes off of it every season. I grew up riding out there prior to it becoming WMA and it was unheard of seeing a deer out there. Shelby def wouldn't be in my top 10 Alabama counties to hunt but there are some good deer taken there every season.
