Dang man, I like those as well. I bought a D-55IR last year and was satisfied. It gave me some good pics of nice bucks. I bought another one of those and am going to try out the I-40XT, for these prices I figure what the heck try something new haha.

Do the refurbs come with any kind of warranty?

In the specs on each item it says there's a 90 day full warranty on all refurbished products purchased at moultrie.com

Has anybody had any experience buying the refurbished cameras?

Yes I bought one of the $29 shipped for $41 about 2 months ago. It works in the yard taking pictures of dogs and kids but haven't actually put it in the woods.

I got the D55IR. The pictures seemed fine. Heck it was only about 5 years ago that an IR camera was like $150 at the cheapest.

It's a pretty solid camera. Can't speak for the refurbished part, but the cam is solid.

I bought 4 of em a couple weeks ago. They take decent pictures. The trigger speed and recovery time are pretty slow. Use them on mineral sites not trails. You're not gonna win any trail cam picture contest with these but they will definitely help take your deer herd inventory.
