LFTT 12/27/2013

Gonna be hunting a cut over this morning its 22 this morning with a good frost suppose to be 3mph wind so should be a good morning. Last time I hunted this spot 2 weeks ago I shot a doe but couldn't find her. I seen a good many deer here right before rifle season opened up I seen a descent 7pt over here so maybe Ill see him this morning or a bigger one.

don't guess you seen any 4 wheelers there have you?

I'm hunting a spot I found before bow season haven't hunted it yet and no one has been in here in several months hopefully big boy is up and about this am.

Waiting on a big one on a clover field

30 ft up a pine in some select cut here in Chambers County. Ran deer off climbing the tree. Beautiful morning.

In a tripod on powerline in Bibb county. Seen 1 doe so far.

I haven't even seen a squirrel this morning.

It's been a slow morning here too. The birds are just now beginning to stir...

Saw one earlier. Already got two doe in the freezer so I'm holding back for ole mossy horns.

I ain't seen a hair.

Seen zero and have only heard one shot.

I had a button buck come out into the field about 8:30. He was feeding heavily, but kept looking back to the north and northwest of him. About 8:50, a 5 pt came out from the north and met the button buck in the field. They fed for a while before leaving together.

I was just poking fun, Maybe a big one will step out for ya.

Sat until 10:30 and didn't see a hair. Saw 1 on the way out. Everybody I've talked to said they were seeing deer on up in the mornings. No deer early or late. I couldn't hang with them today, but seeing that deer in the way out kind of confirmed what others are saying.

I hate dogs.

Sitting in one of our shooting houses with my 15 yr old daughter. Hoping for a doe today.

Hoping to fill another doe tag this afternoon! I won't mind filling a buck tag either

I'm about ready to shoot this dang possum that's rustling around under my ladder stand! It's driving me nuts!

I've gotta little bity one out here by herself. Does aren't getting the pass from me. I just hope one steps out. Been a frustrating 3 hunts for me. Just haven't been moving, and the weather has felt perfect.

It's show time! Everything looks and feels perfct right now. Sunset in 45 minutes or so. I just need the deer to realize this and show up!
