In a shooting house on a green field in southern Greene County. No wind.
The deer and hogs really moved after dark.

I opted for a field with a hardwood draw to one side and heavy bedding on the other, the chase is wide open here in Greene county. Good luck fellas

Sitting with my wife this morning. Nothing so far.

Had a doe come in and feed for about 15 minutes, then left the way she came.

It’s dead quiet here in the woods except for this occasional swirling wind.

Nothing here, got a new buck on camera behind the house. Hopefully he will stick around till this afternoon

Doe and twins came out. Stayed about 10 minutes

Had three spikes feeding for a while, only one left feeding. Petty morning.

Did you kill two of them? 😁

If so, he’s quailman’s hero!

Killed a coyote. Missed the 2nd coyote. 🤷‍♂️

Wind shifted on me so I moved. Found some fresh scrapes and sitting on the ground about 25 yards off with the wind in my face. Way more comfortable than that tiny metal ladder stand

6 point just came through. I’m after his running buddy

The does still have fawns with them where I am, so it ain't quite time yet.

The last spike left and now a doe and yearling are out feeding.

Saw several does and a nice six. Thought hard about busting him but gave him a pass. Hope he makes it. He’ll be a stud next year.

Unfortunately I fell a week ago and have been shuffling around on a walker since so no hunting for me. Getting old sux. A guest this morning saw 4-5 small bucks harassing does so getting close in Dale Cty. Hopefully I will be mobile before it really sets off

Heading out to grab a bite and right back in. Had another buck grunting near me this morning, but never saw him. Maybe this afternoon

From 11 till now my cameras have been going off

Had a 3 yr old on camera in a food plot at 10:30 am. First daylight pic I think we’ve had of him. Saw several deer up and moving between 12:30 - 1:30 as we were driving to the camp. This is west Autauga Co.

Back across the road, daughter is behind the house. Hoping the new buck shows up for her

Just had 6 does walk through no followers.

Watching a food plot next to a thick cutover. Saw a big 3 pt cruising this morning.

Sitting with my son in a ladder in Some swamp woods at a buddy’s farm.

Just watched a 3 year old 7pt make a scrape. Never seen him before

Big man got one this evening!

Son just got a nice 8. He’s already got it loaded up and I’m still sitting in the stand! He sent me a pic but I’m am IDOT when it comes to posting pictures.

My Dad and Emory were hunting together this afternoon and our #1 target at the Winston County farm walked into their foodplot at 5:00!!! This is a 7.5 year old buck that we’ve been trying to kill for a long time!!!

What a week it’s been for us!!!!!
