Baldwin County Archery Record? - 01/22/22 02:13 AM
How would one find the Baldwin Cty archery record? I killed a deer in 2019 that I think would be close but may be way off. Can’t post pics on here but could text them to someone who can

It’s inside a fence.
That would be fine if it was in the mountains of Pelham.
Not sure how they handle that in Baldwin County.

That deer was most definitely not killed in a fence, he was 100% free range!

Where in Baldwin county. I think it could be a archery record here unless it’s a high fence deer or something. Most around here top out at 100”

I killed him around Boatyard, he was definitely no high fence deer. I’ve never hunted behind a fence and wouldn’t pay the money.

Don’t know of the record, but that deer might make Pope and Young. That would be very rare for Baldwin County.

Congrats on a nice buck headshot
I hunted a lot between Lillian and Elberta back in the day East of the original Wolf Bay Lodge on a couple large parcels that butted up to peanut fields.

He’ll make it by a little bit, he grossed 144-145 by a few people. He was exactly 20” inside

Re: Baldwin County Archery Record? - 01/22/22 04:25 PM
the fence in the background is no where near a high fence, it's a common 4' farm fence.

Heck of a deer for Baldwin County and shows if You let them get old enough by letting them walk a few years, Big deer with good genetics can be taken in places that is normally overlooked. I know You are proud of that deer headshot1 and I am happy for You! I grew up about 10 minutes from Boatyard, so know the area well.
