On the road to my buddies place this morning. The bucks were running does last weekend here, Hopefully the rain will hold off for a while. Good luck fellas!

Going to make an all day sit. Setting on a plot that has a couple shooters coming in. Hopefully one will come checking for does. Haven’t saw any chasing yet they still jus bumping does as far as I can tell. Good luck fellas

Wind is calm here this morning so I snuck into my ladder stand behind the house. 5 in the plot when I got here, maybe big boy will follow them through here soon. Good luck everyone

Set up on a field. Hasn’t been hunted in two years. Got a buddy with me and hopefully he will bust one in the next field over

This is my fourth morning hunt of the year, man I've been lazy. Setup on a small field in a pine plantation with a feeder on it. This is only the second time it's been hunted. My cousin said they have been chasing across the road in the fields so I hope they will be bedding in these pines.

We must’ve had one heck of a turkey hatch. I’ve had at least 20 walking around. They want r to get to this corn but see me in the tree.

Done heard 3 shots this morning so they moving here. Just hoping I get my turn

All quiet around here. Light rain that wasn’t supposed to be here yet.

Of course I'm looking at ALdeer and a yote comes within 20 yards of me...I'm in a shotgun only area so I couldn't get on him by the time I got my gun up. . Anyway, hoping to see some deer...active scrapes all around me.

Hens yelping and cutting on my big field - they about to enter field sounds like - but I looking for horns Oplenty and not slutacular

Just had a big heavy buck cross the lane behind me. By the time I got my gun up he eased into he woods. I got one tag left and I definitely would have punched my ticket on him.

Let a young, tall rack 6 point walk a minute ago. He needs a few more years.

I ended up seeing 1 doe and a coyote this morning.

I wish I’d stayed at the house. There are turkeys everywhere this morning and there were none in this 170 acre block all spring.

I’m supposed to be on vacation 2 days next week and I’m banging my head thinking I need to move my days off to opening week of turkey season.

Seen 5 so far. One decent buck that almost got killed but I decided not to. Just had a longbeard gobble 4-5 times below me in the steady rain. Pretty neat.

My brother just missed a good one walking to his stand. Nose on the ground moving quick

Rain has set in but sitting in a box on a food plot. Seems real slow around here according to club members

Dead calm this morning in Macon Co. Saw one solo doe. Just got back in the stand. Going to hunker down through the rain. I’m hoping they move just in front of it. We will see. Good luck guys.

Just got settled into a shooting house on a field surrounded by pine thicket.
The rain has stopped for now. Hopefully the next band will hold off til after dark.

Rain is picking up in Macon Co. I got the feeling this will be a huge success, or a giant bust. Doesn’t really matter to me, I’m hunting, it could be worse.

Hunted a hardwood bottom this morning. Saw one deer a big I believe 3 year old 3 point. Sat til 12 and called it a day once it started spitting rain. On my way out I saw close to 20 fresh scrapes. Sitting on the couch fixing to do some honey dos til I drive my wife crazy and she tells me to go back hunting.

A slow steady rain in Crenshaw co. I'm sitting in a blind stand watching 5 greenfields.

Got my daughter in the same blind as yesterday. She understands it's buck or bust, and is completely fine with that. If big boy slips up, she'll have her one bigger than I've ever seen.

No way I see anything. Slow steady rain on tin roof of shooting house, I will be asleep in 10 min. Did end up seeing a pretty nice buck this am, he busted us before my son could shoot.

Wife asked if I was dedicated. Well, guess that’s a challenge or her way of shoeing me out. I got on the rain gear and sat a stand untouched this year in really big old thinned pines in between 2 food plots. Saw a small buck and 3 more that I made out as slick heads

Shot a decent 8 pt. He tried to whip up on another buck with 4 does in the field. Not a giant but it was a great hunt. He weighed in at 173, luckily my buddy drove down to help me drag him out. It was a long uphill drag
