It’s a foggy one. Wasn’t going to go today since I got that buck yesterday evening but I promised to take a co-worker who has never shot a deer so I’m keeping my word.
Saw a 6pt in a field as I was pulling up to the front gate so they are atleast moving.

So foggy I can't find my truck in the back yard

I can see about 10 ft. I knew better than to fool with it til after this fog

same spot as yesterday. Maybe that doe will bring that buck back again today and give me a shot.

Just saw a small racked buck cross the road while driving home.

Sitting on a power line on the ground, got a rough spot they cross off the end of a field. Already had two big does cross. Wind is swirling and fog is coming and going.

Just had a doe get up by a scrape, 50 yds away I never seen her bedded down

Back in the stand where I killed the 10 Friday. Heard one grunting right after daylight hopefully he'll come back by. Good luck guys.

Seen 9 so far. Got to leave soon. It's my anniversary and I got to keep the wife happy.

Watching a big sage field that has a bunch of small pines in it. Seen 14 does, a cowhorn, and a six point so far.

Doe and triplets just crept through

Seen 4 does and a big 3yo six that walked down the power line to within 76 yards and hung around like he wanted to take a ride. I just know there is some bigger ones around so I let him walk.

This wind is starting to switch bad though.

Saw two young bucks and 8 rabbits.

just had my #1 buck at 30 yards. On the ground and couldn’t get a shot. First time i’ve ever seen him in daylight in three years. Sick

Got down at 10:00 and started back to the truck. Walked over a hill and saw movement. One of my big bucks was feeding with some does under some oaks at about 80yds. Unfortunately it was too thick to get a bullet to him, watched him for a few minutes before the wind swirled and they busted me. I am upset lol. But saw a total of 21 deer this morning which is way more than I’ve ever seen in one sit on our place.

Trying to get my first ground based bow kill this afternoon. Brought the rifle along just in case. Yearling already in the plot, hoping her big fat mama isn’t too far behind her.

Sitting in a shooting house with my youngest at a place I usually see a mix of small bucks and some does . We shall see what happens.

I was going to sit today out but, my cameras have been sending pics all day that has convinced me otherwise

Watching a powerline with a plot on it this evening.

Out for the evening hunt. Been seeing two bucks about 4:30 every night. It is quiet and almost dead calm.

Just sat down, 5 does and 2 spikes

Had ten does on the plot. Lead heifer busted me at 30yds when I went to draw.
