Video Camera - 10/22/20 06:02 PM
I got a question for all ya'll fine folks. I am wanting to get
a video camera to record my kids hunts. I want one
that takes great video, has good sound and is durable. I
also would like one that picks up good light at dusk. Anyone
know of a camera that will do all this? Thanks in advance.

Depends on your budget. Sony AX100 is a great camera. That will fit all your above needs.
I use a Cannon vixia R-800. It does a really good job for the price. Can pick one up off amazon with some goodies for around $300 usually.
Its like Hojo said. It depends on what youre willing to spend.

I know quality comes with a price. So $1500 was the most I
wanted to spend. I was hoping to get a few accessories also.
Thanks for the comments. I will look in to the ones yall have
mentioned.
Dang...ok..well...panasonic vx870, sony ax100, canon g series..g40 be my pick.....for that kinda money you can buy a dang good camera. In my honest to goodness oppinion...i like the panasonics..we used them to film hunts and they were hands down better than our sonys
I use a point and shoot canon...but im wanting a higher quality camcorder...hit up ebay...really good used cameras on there for a fraction of what they cost new

I've used a Sony HXR-NX100 the last few years that worked out pretty good for me. It works pretty well in low light conditions too.
