What's the most bucks?

that you've seen trailing a hot doe?

I used to hunt in Stills Crossroads and had 3 bucks chasing does one morning there. A big 6, 120 class 8 point and a 134(Buckmasters Composite Score) 10 point which I killed.

I was bow hunting a small field on the edge of a creek and I could hear some chasing up on the high ground. After a while I had a doe running as fast as she could straight at me and I could see a couple of bucks. She ran right up to my tree and turned around to face the bucks. There were 5 good racked buck came in and surrounded her and I drew and tried to lock in on one of the bucks but they keep moving and then the doe saw an opening a took off and crossed a power line with all 5 bucks pushing as hard as they could. I felt sorry for the old doe.

i saw 5 one morning but only one of them really had a rack. all spikes and 3 or 4 points and one solid little 8 point. other than tat ive seen 1 with the doe and it chasing a couple other little bucks off that were hanging out around them

3 bucks multiple times that were actually chasing in a row. But one time bowhunting I shot a basket 8 following a doe. within the next 15 minutes I had 4 bigger bucks (130-155ish) all trail her in and hang out within 40 yards running at each other and making scrapes. Crazy thing was my buddy shot at the exact same time on the next ridge over (his buck was much better than mine). When they're hot they're hot.

I saw 4 this morning, but I’ve seen 4-5 several times. It was on this AM in the wind.

I’ve seen 3 and 4, but never have see the one I want to see

7 ranging from a spike up to a 186 pound 9 point that died.

6-8 hunting on the ground, all dogging her within 40 yards. it was a total rodeo

3 - this past Saturday in Macon Co.

Most I ever seen close together as 3 I have seen 5-6 follow a trail on a hot doe throughout the day

3...i've only saw em chasing 3 times round here.. only once hunting and I put one on the wall... the other 2 were on the rd

One day I couldnt believe it...about twenty at least. They were bothering her, chasing her....wouldnt let up. Never seen anything like it!





Oh wait...that was a female posting on aldeer and the responses from yall. Never mind.

2, two different times. One each time was an 8pt that did win the race, they are both on the wall.

Me too....One morning in IL. at least 9 and possibly more... I had a hot doe come in on me and stopped right below me panting loud with her tongue hanging out...I shot real low and knocked the hair out of about a 140 inch 8 pointer that was on her butt and my arrow buried up in a sapling He bolted outa there around 40 yds or so and stopped....still looking at her directly under me....I think the racket must have sounded a like horns cracking together or something cause here they all come from nearly every direction.... The first one to run in was a 9 pointer thats pretty close to 135 or so I think...He ran 40yds and piled up with his ticket back to Bama... As soon as I plugged him a big heavy wide 10 pointer ran in to the same spot and I got another arra out and was pulling back on him... he ran that doe out of range before I could shoot him, thank goodness cause he was a freaking stud and I had a few arras left but no tag .... She ran right by my 9 pointer and stopped, then the rest of those bucks followed her and man they put on a show for the next 30 minutes.....They fought, chased, snort wheezed, sparred around a while when finally that 10 pointer took off with her and the rest of them went that way too ...It was a freakin AWESOME day...One I'll never forget...

6 in Southeast Kansas.
5 in North Central Nebraska. (The doe was a Muley. 3 whitetail and 2 Muley bucks were chasing her)

There were 5 bucks chasing the doe in Texas last year when I shot my big buck. Smallest was a nice 7 point.

In the secondary rut, I once saw 8 chasing a doe. She had a 130 inch 8 right on her tail followed by 4 other bucks. He pushed her across my narrow greenfield 3 times before I could get the crosshairs on him. My heart was experiencing a very intense stress test and I jerked the trigger as he came through the 4th time. Got down and looked and I had missed clean. Went back and sat back down in the shooting house and started the woulda, coulda, shoulda's while crying in my cornflakes. Looked up and 2 6 points crossed the field. Got the gun up and shot the 8 point that was behind them. He was nothing compared to the one I missed. May have been others behind but I went to get the truck.

3 young bucks chased a doe all around me one morning. Finally went out of hearing and came back but it was 4 now. The 4th I loaded on a 4 wheeler.
