Re: LFSH 12/1 - 12/01/19 02:21 PM

Been a slow morning, so far we’ve only saw a little old squirrel dragging what may or may not have been the hastily fashioned raft that saved his life in the typhoon, poor fellow looked like it almost got the best of him

Is the wind straightline or all over the place where you guys are?

A doe with twins came right beside the sh as soon as we sat down from making redneck windows. They are feeding in the field now.

Pretty much straight out of the west here. An occasional south west. Really swirled this morning.

Re: LFSH 12/1 - 12/01/19 10:38 PM

Weather needs to get right .I have not had any good
Weather yet while hunting this season. Tommorrow will be
The day to hunt but I have to work 10 am to 7 pm.
That sucks. But saying that I have killed my biggest
Bucks on windy days. Fingers crossed.
It's 4:30 nothing yet

Re: LFSH 12/1 - 12/02/19 02:42 AM

This afternoon was perfect weather, Strong w wind concealed a lot of movement and noise. We got tight to a plot in an old dilapidated shooting house. Added camo fabric to the windows and doors as soon as we got there so the deer would not see us move and we were covered up from the second we finished covering the windows til dark. Ended up seeing a dozen and had all of them at 15 or so yards at some point this afternoon. Daughter was holding out for a buck so they all lived.
