LFTW 1/16/19 - 01/16/19 11:31 AM

Parked and gonna sit for a few minutes before getting into a Ladder between 2 hardwood areas in Pike/Crenshaw line. Got to deal with my flat ATV trailer tire issue in a little while so hope something happens quick. Good luck y'all!

Getting ready to walk in now, feel good about the spot I'm headed to, should be a good morning, just realized I left my insulated hunting pants back at the house!!! Hopefully my under Armour thermals and blue jeans will be enough until it warms up!!!

In some thick stuff. Hunting with a bow. 20 yards max shot. I've got a few good ones on camera and one finally made a daytime appearance. Hoping he shows back up.

Hunting in some open pines right by a grown up clearcut. Just had a young 6 pt come by with his nose to the ground. Maybe they’re starting to move here.

Didn't see squat this am around goshen. Put 2 new tires on trailer and back out here in north Pike county on food plot surrounded by thick pines. We'll see what happens.

About to try this spot behind the house again. Joker comes in every night 30 minutes after dark. Last nights pics show his tarsals are dripping. Maybe I can trick him today!

Got away from work around 1230 and headed up to sorghum hollow to get my deer meat. Had the rifle in the back of the truck and decided I’d try to get another doe to drop off when I picked up my meat, and share it with my dad because he loves jerky. Was in the tripod at 2:05, had a doe down at 2:30. Got my meat and dropped her off and was back home by 5:00. Pretty sweet afternoon! Very pleased with my first experience at Sorghum Hollow processor. Very well ran and quick turn around.

Exactly. Thanks y'all. Been a tough week for sure. Glad to finally have one on the ground. I grunted up numerous young bucks. Saw plenty of bigguns that were only killable with a machine gun, this one is somewhere in the middle. My dad would say, ain't no telling what he would have been next year. Ha.
