Lowndes WMA

Got a buddy coming to hunt next week and wants to try our hand on some public land.
Gonna rough it for fun and do some primitive camping.

Not familiar with Lowndes management area at all so I was hoping to get a little advice on areas to check out.
How’s the local crowd? Heard horror stories of Tuskegee.

Gonna put boots on the ground and do some all day sits.

Ive never been there. Honestly Tuskegee isn't as bad as people say. I hunt there quite a bit and I've only seen another Hunter once. Just use common sense and you'd be fine.

TNF isn’t crowded, and if your in wetumpka I’d look at Yates Lake WMA

Kinda curious myself. I have a buddy that goes on the rifle days and slams the hogs up there I have seen a few nice bucks come out of there also.
