Deer are on their feet. A small buck just walked by my CovertWireless camera on a food plot.

I am in a hardwood hollow. I found the biggest scrape that I have ever seen. The size of a small car. Deer crap in the scrape. Perch says that means the doe that crapped is in heat. I am hoping for a giant.

Sitting in a tree off a power line ROW. Perfect wind for this spot, right in my face. Nitrate applied and couple weeks ago, field looks great. Maybe something with horns will get stupid and cruise by.

You're probably sitting on what I've always referred to as a community scrape. Note a traditional individual scrape like you'll find on a specific buck's scrape line. I've found lots like that over the years and generally pretty early in the season. It doesnt necessarily mean it's a huge buck. If it is a CS, it will be visited by multiple bucks of all ages and does in the area. Hopefully one may be the huge one you're looking for.

Going to try and not kill another tree this afternoon. Maybe they will move in this heat.
