Wounded Warrior Hunt, Anniston Army Depot - 01/18/16 01:02 AM

The hunt was the 15-17th. If my info was correct out of 20 some odd hunters killed 1 140 class 8 point, 1 spike, and 1 doe. Man, I guess the depot and pelham range bruisers arent as common anymore.

You posted the op at 1 am and the response at 6am, not a ton of readers between those hours. Check back later today and maybe someone will have replied.

I do know a Wounded Warrior killed a 140" buck in Calhoun county on a hunt during those dates. Not sure exactly where it was at.

I think that area still has some great deer. With that said; some of their deer have been through with the rut for a while. Also; if nothing has changed it gets hunted pretty hard and by this time of the year they aren't just going to walk out at every stand. It will also depend as to what area they had them hunting and the pressure that it has or hasn't had. Congrats to the ones that killed though!
